Welcome to the Ray Marsh Book Whisperer blog! I hope everyone will be able to get ideas and inspiration from the book. I will post a comment or question each day or so, and you can respond to that, or start your own discussion! I hope we can share ideas and thoughts about what Donalyn says. Some of her ideas are fairly radical and would definately take a leap of faith to implement! She says, in the first chapter or two that the cornerstone of her progaram is independent reading time..." I must make sure that I give them time to read in class every day. After all if I do not make time for them to read in school, why should they make time for it in their life?" Do we all give our students daily reading time? How do we fit it in?
